A Wednesday Wine Stop...
Big name wines at low(er) prices? Check out the 30% off deals I spotted at the Dominick’s on Clybourn. Shown: Opus One, Cakebread Cellars, Silver Oak, Stag’s Leap Artemis, etc. I didn’t plan on going to Dominick’s for wine purchasing (I usual go to Provenance in Logan Square or Lush Wine & Spirits) but they had some pretty good deals today.

Ohhhh Gnarly Head.
2006 Gnarly Head “Old Vine Zin”, Lodi, California.
I don’t know why, but I love this wine. I happen to be one of these “small batch production, byodynamic, no major chain retail presence!” snobs, but Gnarly Head is one of those low-cost delicious wines that I find myself purchasing whenever I’m in Target.
Really, its easy to have this as an every-day...
